Hot Powerglow Vinyasa is our signature, upbeat yoga practice that gets you out of your head and back into your body. You’ll work hard to link together your movements and breath while you flow through a series of traditional yoga poses. Moreover, since the best things in life don’t come easily, we heat the room to about 98 degrees. It’s a sweaty, powerful and meditative experience that will help you turn down the noise of everyday life. This open-level class is set to music. Modifications and variations will be offered.
Hot Power Hour is the express version of our signature yoga practice. It’s for those of you that need to come in, move around and get on with your day. You can expect to dive right into a sweaty, powerful and meditative experience. Reconnect to the rhythm of your breath to find more steadiness and ease on and off your mat. When you quiet an overactive mind, you’ll feel ready to handle whatever curveballs life throws your way.
Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life force, and ayama means extending or stretching. Thus, the word “pranayama” translates to the control of life force. It is also known as the extension of breath. This 30 minutes class will provide the techniques of various Pranayama practice, and their potential benefits. The students will be able to get acquainted with key exercises from the ancient Pranayama tradition and their relevance to wellbeing in modern times. Class is Not heated.
A chance to pause and practice mindfulness with your peers. Every week, we’ll be exploring topics related to yoga principles and considering practical ways to bring those principles off the mat and into daily life. We’ll begin with a short reading and introduction to mindfulness techniques before sitting together in 30 minutes of silent meditation, ending our time with a chance to share and discuss the week’s topic. We provide bolsters, blankets, and a limited number of chairs, but please feel free to bring a comfortable seat of your choosing.
The gentle flow class will lead you to a state of relaxed transformation- it is the perfect blend of vinyasa and stillness, a slower vinyasa sequence followed by gentle restorative poses. The slow flow allows you to feel the poses and transitions while calming your central nervous system. The restorative poses lead you into even deeper relaxation. You will use props to help the mind and body feel totally supported and relaxed. The room is heated to a comfortable 85 degrees, and the ambiance of the studio is set with candles, dim lighting, and soft music. The class is open to all students; modifications and variations are offered to serve the needs of all experience levels. Get ready to take your practice seriously but yourself lightly as you explore your edge, discover your strengths, and awaken your spirit.
We created Warm Powerglow Basics because we want all students to feel safe and empowered at PFY. This class moves at a slower pace so you can learn fundamental vinyasa poses and how to link together your movements and breaths. We’ll turn the heat down a bit, so Warm Powerglow Basics is a moderate introduction to our signature Hot Powerglow Vinyasa.
Yin Yoga is the perfect complement to a more vigorous, powerful fitness routine. For those who need a mini-retreat but can’t quite get away, yin yoga helps students clear away the mental fog. You can expect fewer poses with longer holds, more floor postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. This practice is focused on releasing deeply held tension in some of the body’s tightest areas: the lower back, hips, and legs. You’ll challenge your ability to stay present and detached as the intensity of each posture continually builds. The class is open to all levels as most of the practice is done on the floor.
Family Yoga creates great opportunities for bonding time, learning together and teamwork, all in the context of safe exercise. Cassandra will lead a well-balanced and fun yoga practice for both the adult and the child in the room, exploring both the physical and the meta-physical aspects of the yogic tradition. No prior experience necessary. Classes will be non-heated to warm. Enrollment is open to adults and their children between the ages of 7-15. Cost: $20/parent + 1 child, $7/each additional child.
This class is offers the best of both worlds!! The class begins with an invigorating and heart-opening vinyasa flow (yang) practice allowing prana (or energy) to begin flowing in the body for the first half of class. The second half of class focuses on stiller yin poses held longer to stretch the connective tissues helping us to relax into the deepest layers of the body. This is the vanilla/chocolate swirl of Yoga!!

Great yoga studio! Great staff and yoga teachers. There are a nice balance of hot, tough and intense classes that Challange the mind and body, to warm, slow and intentional classes that connect the mind, body and soul, and gives me more of a loving and spiritual practice. Facilities are great and you can rent and utilize their mats, block, straps, etc... I highly recommend classes by Cassandra, Tonya, Nan Cathrine and Vedrana.Adrian P.
I can't say enough.. Vedrana and her staff are wonderful! They are so welcoming, helpful and positive. The studio is so clean and beautiful! There are showers and everything you need. I have been enjoying trying all of the different classes offered. You can't help but feel exhilarated after each one. I am still fairly new at the practice. The teachers are always willing to assist and I love that they encourage us to go at our own pace always being mindful that we are all at different levels. It's a safe and judement free zone. I am thrilled and grateful to have this gem near our neck of the woods.Sheri S.
I love this yoga studio! And not just because it is so close to me. The teachers are all fabulous, and I find the class size to be perfect. the class is very personal and attentive, and is extremely supportive in helping with modifications when my joints are not cooperating. The heat setting is warm enough to sweat and feel flexible, but not overwhelming like some hot yoga classes. There is a wide range of intensity between the classes, and I can always find one from early in the morning to late in the evening. The availability of blocks, straps, bolsters and even mats and hand towels is a gracious touch, and it is really a beautiful and calming facility in which to practice and learn. The owners and the staff are welcoming and create a sense of community, and I am looking forward to integrating more and more rather than just "going to class". I highly recommend PowerFlow Yoga for your yoga experience!Rachel S.
Love love love this studio. The instructors are amazing. They instruct with knowledge and provide options for injured parts of the body. They really do care to make it the best experience. The studio provides a relaxing environment. I leave feeling like a new person. Just wish I could get there more. I highly recommend and you will not be disappointed.Diana C.
The Powerflow Yoga team is an amazing group of people. They strive to help everyone progress in their practice no matter how experienced you are. Everyone feels they are getting the attention they need to be the best they can be. The instructors are always changing their routines so each class I have learn something new. When I leave, I feel renewed and stress I may have walked in with is now gone. I also did my first head stand today!! Thanks Vadrana!!David S.
I’ve been to many studios around town and have found my yoga home. I have done some hot yoga in the past, and I was worried that this would make me feel sick like other classes have, however the special dry heating system that usually is only 98 degrees and so and the low humidity make the “hot” an asset. I sweat more than when I run, and it is very cleansing for me to do this on the regular basis. There is a wide variety of classes so I can usually fit three or four in every week even with a super busy schedule. I like the different personalities of the different teachers, and the facilities are some of the nicest I’ve seen - from water bottle fountains to showers to changing rooms they have everything you need. I am probably using up all of their hairbands because I always forget to bring them and i appreciate they always have them there. I’ve also been to some studios that were somewhat preachy, and I appreciate the exact right amount of messaging for me. A little something positive to think about but it’s not the focus of the class or a requirement for the “culture”. I’ve met some really nice people there as well.Caroline B.
My yoga routine with them is not just for my fitness but at this point key to my mental health and my ability do well at my job, be a great mom and live a better life.
I love every class! The instructors are so patient and helpful! It is the perfect place for me to feel comfortable enough to clear my mind and let my body move with no judgement! A place of love and happiness just walking in the door, and chatting after class with wonderful friends! Love it!Meredith H.
I've tried a number of instructors and a number of types of classes at Power Flow and have been beside myself happy with each one. I was skeptical about the HOT aspect, but truly have found it is not an issue as the warm room helps to loosen up the muscles. Each instructor's gentle corrections are welcome and helpful. And the cool lavender towel at the end of the classes makes the hard work worth it.Joelle L.
Always so good. Challenging yet fun and empowering!!!!!!Carey G.
I can't believe how great this place is. Never having done yoga before, I thought I would try it out for a month or two; and now, several months later, I have a yoga studio that is part of my weekly exercise routine. The staff is helpful and encouraging. I like that I don't have to do everything perfectly or at all. I keep hearing the instructors say "You do You" and "If it's in your practice..." meaning if I can't do a certain pose, I don't have to force myself beyond my own comfort level.Stephen P.
It's a fantastic workout at a great place filled with awesome people.
I cannot say enough positive things about this studio. It saved me from a downward spiral into depression. Caring for a loved one with a terminal illness is not easy and I am forever grateful yoga fell into my life. It’s a safe place to restore your mind body and soul. All of the instructors have encouraged and embraced through my journey. Through tears, sweat, strength and encouragement I have pulled myself out of a dark place and have been able to get my life back. Struggles are real and they occur everyday, having a place to go to and get through it with caring like minded folks is a blessing.Kristine M.
Great workout, great music, great instructor. Worth getting up early for!Maggie R.
